Midway ? Administrative Assistant
Christina Lake Cannabis, renowned for producing premium, cost-effective sun-grown cannabis, has expanded to a stunning 100-acre property in Midway, BC.
We are looking for a reliable Office Administrator to join our team in Midway. This individual will undertake general administrative tasks, shipping and receiving activities, security responsibilities, and procurement operations. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision while ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
* Efficiently manage the ordering, procurement, and receiving of goods to meet operational needs.
* Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, ensuring procurement processes align with organizational goals.
* Oversee inventory management to ensure adequate supply levels are maintained.
* Ensure all existing and new employees are up to date with Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) training
* Submit timely reports assigned.
* Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data.
* Assist colleagues whenever necessary.
Requirements and skills
* Post-secondary education in office administration, business, procurement, or a related field (preferred).
* Proven procurement experience, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and vendor management.
* Experience in shipping, receiving, and inventory management, with a keen eye for accuracy.
* Proven experience as an office administrator, assistant or relevant role.
* Highly organized, strong attention to details, self-starter and strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities if duties arise. our teams work together to ensure support for all our business activities.
* Proven experience as an office administrator, assistant or relevant role.
* Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal abilities.
* Familiarity with office management duties, procedures and basic accounting principles.
* Thorough knowledge of MS Office and office management software.
* First aid an asset.
* Must have reliable transportation
