<h3>Job Description</h3><div>Job Description<div><p><strong>Position Details:</strong></p><p><strong> </strong>• Full-Time, Permanent</p><p>• Hourly</p><p>• On-Site</p><p>• Schedule: Monday to Thursday.</p><p>• Hours of Work: 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. (Eligibility for overtime where required).</p><p>• NOC Code - 94201 - Electronics assembler, fabricators, inspectors and testers.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>L</strong><strong>ocation: </strong>Head Office, Cornwall Road, Oakville, ON</p><p><strong>Su</strong><strong>mm</strong><strong>ar</strong><strong>y</strong><strong>:</strong></p><p>We are seeking a <strong>Production Assembler </strong>to assemble electronic billboards, your responsibilities can include measuring and making accurate cuts to parts, ensuring all parts are put together the equipment.</p><p> </p><p><strong>T</strong><strong>he primary responsibilities and duties include but are not limited to:</strong></p><p>• Follow and understand safety procedures and company policies including use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</p><p>• Responsible for population and wiring of electronic components including LED modules, power supplies, receiver cards, etc. into metalwork assemblies.</p><p>• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, work instructions, specifications, work orders, bills of material and reports to accurately assemble components into finished products.</p><p>• Assemble electrical or electronic systems and/or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring using rivets, bolts and other mechanical fasteners.</p><p>• Utilize basic hand tools (manual and pneumatic) to assist with component installation (wrenches, drivers, sockets, rivets, etc.).</p><p>• Continual review for component or metalwork defects and report to production lead hand; responsible for component/cell level quality assurance.</p><p>• Verify dimensions and clearance of components to ensure conformance to production drawing and other specifications.</p><p>• Review and follow direction from production floor lead hands and supervisors</p><p>• Inform shop-floor management on issues related to quality, production and/or safety which may adversely impact meeting your daily production goals.</p><p>• Keep record and report daily personal labour hours dedicated to each production work order</p><p>• Tag and label components.</p><p>• Maintain a clean and organized production work cell.</p><p>• Actively identifying continuous improvement opportunities to increase production efficiency and safety.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong>R</strong><strong>e</strong><strong>qu</strong><strong>i</strong><strong>re</strong><strong>m</strong><strong>e</strong><strong>n</strong><strong>t</strong><strong>s / Qualifications: </strong></p><p><strong> A</strong><strong>cademic Training:</strong></p><p> </p><p>• High school diploma or GED.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Work Experience:</strong></p><p>• A minimum of 3 years' working experience of hands-on electronics assembly and population into large mechanical assemblies.</p><p>• Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset.</p><p><strong>Specific Competencies:</strong></p><p>• Ability to interpret technical drawings of mechanical and electronic assemblies.</p><p>• To be able to and are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.</p><p>• To be flexible to work extra hours when needed (overtime).</p><p>• Experience using basic hand and power tools including drills, tie snips, impact driver, glue gun and screwdrivers.</p><p>• To have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.</p><p>•
