The Forklift Operator is responsible for ensuring freight is properly loaded and/or unloaded with the proper bill control and supporting documentation. In a productive, safe, error-free, and time-sensitive manner. _NB: This role embodies an exceptional career opportunity for a person familiar with a cross-dock setting, forklifts, and Dangerous Goods._ *Available Schedules:* Monday to Friday - Afternoons: 3:00PM to 11:30PM Sunday to Thursday - Midnights: 11:00PM to 7:30AM _*Duties & Responsibilities*_ * Efficiently load and unload trailers in strict adherence to company protocols to ensure safe and timely operations. * Identify and manage OS&D (Over, Short, and Damaged) freight with attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation and prompt resolution. * Complete required documentation accurately and thoroughly, ensuring all records are in compliance with company standards. * Comply with company health and safety policies at all times, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues. * Maintain a clean and organized workspace, performing housekeeping duties as needed to ensure a tidy, efficient, and safe environment. * Support management with additional tasks as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork to meet operational needs. _*Qualifications*_ * 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience is an asset. * 1-2 years of previous counterbalance forklift experience is preferred. * Cross-dock experience is considered an asset. * Written and oral communication skills. * Ability to work under pressure and in a time-sensitive environment. * A criminal record search will be requested upon conditional offers.
