We are supporting a strong risk culture and strategic approach to monitoring and managing Third Party risk. This is a newly created role on the team focusing on data, and risk reporting as part of Vendor Management.The role also manages Third Party Business Arrangements through all stages of the Third-Party Management Lifecycle (TPML), in alignment with relevant frameworks, policies and standards. Vendor Managers are expected to understand and maintain knowledge of Business Arrangement terms (including key Third Party and business segment or corporate function (TD) deliverables).Vendor Managers are also responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on performance of Business Arrangements and identifying and escalating issues where identified in order to mitigate risk.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:Report to Senior Group Vendor Manager, work with vendor managers, project teams, technology stakeholders, SSG and finance to support progression of engagements, facilitate sessions, provide ad hoc analysis.Manage the Third-Party Risk process; leverage dashboards, and workflows to analyze status of risk ratings for changes, and anomaliesDevelop and continuously support data analytics, which are intended to provide insights into status of Third-Party Risk items, changes, and alignment to standardsManage day-to-day inquiries from project and technology asset owners (TAOs), Vendor Manager colleagues, and teams as well as other Stakeholders related to business requirements, vendor spend, risk related items and tracking progress of engagements.Develop solid and effective working relationships with Business Unit leadership team, Finance partners, Third Party Risk Management (TPRM, TPRO and Cyber) Risk Partners and other stakeholders by providing value added analysis as requiredParticipate fully as a member of the team and contribute to a positive work environment that encourages productivity, professionalism, and teamworkEnsure integrity in dealing with Third Parties, complying with TD's Expense Policy, Enterprise Procurement Policy, Vendor Management Policy and Code of Conduct and EthicsIdentify issues, document, and monitor trends with a Third Party in a responsive manner, to reduce risk in alignment with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) Policies and related StandardsLead Vendor Management activities, supporting the Business and initiating Sourcing Requests and follow the Third-Party Risk Assessment (TPRM) processUnderstand contractual / financial terms of a Business Arrangement and monitor a Third Party's financial health to mitigate risk related to costs and servicesMonitor, analyze and report a Third Party's performance through the delivery of services against SLAs, SLOs, KPIs or other contractual commitmentsJob RequirementsUndergraduate degree in business, computer science preferred6+ years of experience in a business or Financial Services environment preferredPrevious experience in financial analysis, sourcing; or vendor management p- LocationToronto, ON
