*Overview* We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role requires strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and a professional attitude. Bilingual skills and experience in retail sales or merchandising are highly valued to better serve our diverse customer base. *Duties* * Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases * Operate POS systems efficiently for cash, credit, and digital payments * Handle cash handling responsibilities with accuracy and integrity * Provide product demos and upsell items to enhance sales opportunities * Maintain organized checkout areas and ensure merchandise is properly displayed * Assist customers with inquiries, returns, or exchanges using excellent phone etiquette * Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times * Support inventory management through merchandising and stock replenishment * Promote store promotions and loyalty programs to increase sales * Ensure compliance with safety and security procedures at all times *Experience* * Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred * Knowledge of POS systems and basic math skills for transaction accuracy * Multilingual abilities or bilingual proficiency (English and other languages) are a plus * Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and active listening * Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment * Ability to perform product demos and upselling techniques effectively * Experience in merchandising or technical sales is advantageous but not required * Demonstrated time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly Join our team as a Cashier to deliver outstanding service while developing valuable retail skills in a dynamic environment.
