Located in the northern end of Edmonton, we pride ourselves on our commitment to the highest quality of work and customer satisfaction. *Summary* We are seeking full-time Restoration Technicians to join our team. Our Restoration Technicians are responsible for completing the labour tasks involved after a disaster event, and ensuring jobs are completed in a timely manner and to the highest standards, in a quickly changing work environment. *General Duties:* * Follow work orders to carry out all necessary mitigation and restoration work (e.g., extract water from residential homes and commercial buildings) * Demolition of affected areas as instructed by Crew Chief, Lead and/or the Project Manager * Pack, list, clean, and dispose of contents and furniture, which can include lifting and carrying heavy loads * Must be able to participate in a rotational on-call schedule and periodically attend to after-hours evening and weekend emergency calls (24/7/365) *Qualifications* * Experience in cleaning and restoration services is an asset * Proficiency with hand and power tools used in construction * Ability to meet the physical demands of medium (frequent) to heavy (infrequent) level work * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team * Basic knowledge of construction practices is an asset * IICRC certifications are an asset (e.g., WRT, FSRT, Mold, etc.) *Compensation and Benefits* * Extended health, dental and life insurance benefits after 6 months of continuous employment Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $16.00-$25.00 per hour Benefits: * Casual dress * Company events * Dental care * Disability insurance * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance * Paid time off * Vision care Application question(s): * Are you able to work a rotational on-call schedule (which may include evenings, weekends and potentially general holidays)? Experience: * restoration: 1 year (preferred) Licence/Certification: * Class 5 Licence and clean driver's abstract (3 years) (required) Work Location: In person
