The University of Calgary has begun a new Master of Physician Assistant Studies program aimed at reducing the strain on Alberta’s health system. To qualify for the new two-year program, applicants must already have a four-year undergraduate degree and a history of working in health care. Admissions are limited to just 20 seats, with this year’s class expected to graduate in the spring of 2026.
