Based in Montreal. <br>If you have experience as a Distribution Center Manager, are comfortable with interpersonal relations, and are always on the lookout for ways to optimize, contact us for this challenge! <br> <br>Reporting to the Senior Logistics Manager, you will be at the heart of the action to organize, optimize and supervise day-to-day operations. Your role is crucial in ensuring your team's efficiency, productivity and safety in the field, while respecting the company's values and ethics. <br> <br>Your responsibilities: <br>Analyze department operations and define priorities. <br>Allocate tasks according to needs and objectives. <br>Monitor productivity and help optimize performance. <br>Analyze performance reports and adjust strategies to maximize productivity. <br>Manage resource and project costs, correct variances and optimize budgets. <br> <br>Production management : <br>Implement standardized procedures on both shifts. <br>Set and communicate performance targets to your management team. <br>Ensure regular follow-up in the field to guarantee quality and safety. <br>Raise your team's awareness of OHS standards and ensure a safe working environment. <br>Optimize the use of material resources and ensure the quality of pallets produced. <br>Anticipate seasonal fluctuations and adapt resources accordingly. <br> <br>Continuous improvement: <br>Suggest improvements to work environment and equipment. <br>Lead continuous improvement projects and implement them with your team. <br>Collaborate with other departments to support cross-functional projects. <br>Develop a strategic plan to improve performance (productivity, OHS, quality, etc.). <br> <br>Management : <br>Lead and motivate a team of supervisors and team leaders. <br>Supervise time sheets and oversee workforce management (recruitment, leave, training, etc.). <br>Define a continuous training plan to develop your team's skills. <br>Monitor performance and apply corrective measures if necessary. <br>Prepare a succession plan to ensure continuity of operations. <br>If necessary, you will replace the Senior Distribution Center Manager. <br> <br>If you're looking for a dynamic position where you can make a real difference, this is the role for you!
