Education: Other trades certificate or diploma. or equivalent experience. Work site environment: Outdoors. Work setting: Various locations. Willing to relocate. Relocation costs covered by employer. Tasks: Instruct apprentices. Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions. Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required. Order parts and maintain inventory. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Keep maintenance reports and documentation. Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications. Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Driver's License (Class 3 or D). Fall Arrest Protection Training Course. Type of product: Electrical wiring devices. Security and safety: Criminal record check. Driving record check (abstract). Drug test. Driver's validity licence check. Transportation/travel information: Valid driver's licence. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Bending, crouching, kneeling. Manual dexterity. Overtime required. Weight handling: Up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
