*What You?ll Be Doing *
_Duties and Responsibilities: _
* Inspect, service and maintain a diverse fleet of construction equipment including (but not limited to) earth-moving equipment, compaction equipment, and aerial equipment such as telehandlers, boom lifts and scissor lifts.
* Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions and make required repairs.
* Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
* Service and test required repairs on customer jobsites as needed.
* Maintain documentation of inspections, maintenance and work orders in a thorough and timely manner.
* Adhere to all company Health and Safety Policies.
*What You?ll Bring to the Team*
_Qualifications and Requirements: _
* Minimum 1 year of mechanical experience, preferably working on a variety of construction equipment.
* Must have a valid Class 5 driver?s license with a clean or satisfactory driver?s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver?s abstract upon request.
* Red Seal or Journeyperson certification is considered an asset.
* Must have a complete set of tools (or working on building a complete toolset).
* Strong understanding of computer applications and diagnostic tools.
* Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic pumps, and motors.
* Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
* Available to work overtime as needed.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.
* Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
