The Government of Saskatchewan General Employees’ Union (SGEU) Local 1579 and eHealth Saskatchewan ratified a new Memorandum of Agreement. The agreement is effective from October 1, 2022, to September 30, 2025, and includes 3% and 1.67% annual wage increases. SGEU Local 1570 represents roughly 650 eHealth Saskatchewan employees.

The Government of Saskatchewan is issuing two Requests for Proposal to design an expansion of the physical space at the Royal University Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as well as implement phase two of a multi-year strategy to increase ICU capacity. The second phase looks to create more individual rooms and add bed capacity for up to 26 ICU patients.

The Government of Saskatchewan, through the Community Initiatives Fund, has approved 416 grants totaling $5.3M to support local initiatives and enhance quality of life in 151 communities. The grants include $2.9M for the Community Grant Program to support children's and youth's wellbeing, and $1.2M for summer camps and day programs.
